Tangy, spicy middle eastern Yogurt marinade for grilled chicken kebabs! Recipe (4 servings) 2 large chicken breasts / boneless thighs 1 cup plain yogurt 2 tablespoons olive oil/ oil of choice 5-6 cloves of garlic minced 1 tablespoon paprika 1 tsp cumin 1/2 tsp cayenne 1 tsp chilli flakes 1/4 tsp cinnamon Juice and zest from one lemon Salt to taste ( I used 2 tsp salt) Freshly ground pepper Fresh herbs ( optional) Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Cut chicken into 2 inch cubes. Coat chicken well with marinade . Cover and let sit in the fridge overnight. Next day, soak some wooden skewers in a bowl of water for 20-40 mins. Remove chicken and thread them onto skewers ( alternating with cubed onion) . Makes about 8-10 skewers! Grill over med high heat for 7-9 mins ( more if chicken thighs) on each side or until juices run clear .
